Join us for Cooks and Books, a free, in-person cooking demonstration and discussion of cookbooks on Thursday, October 13th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Alder Room of C3 (Corvallis Community Center, 2601 NW Tyler Ave). Learn how to prepare and sample a recipe demonstrated by a local chef as well as participate in an informal discussion about cooking and cookbooks related to the recipe and theme.

The theme for October is low-waste cooking and we will be joined by Maggie Berg of Mama Berg's.

About Maggie Berg: Maggie Berg is chef and owner of Mama Berg's, a savory pie company bringing locally sourced and handmade products to your freezer for convenient, nutritious, and delicious meals at the ready. mama-bergs.com // Instagram: @_mama_bergs_

Cooks and Books will also be happening on Thursday, January 26th at the same time and in the same place on a new theme to be announced.

This event series is co-sponsored by C3, Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, and Corvallis Sustainability Coalition.
