Digital Safety for Kids Ages 2-7 Presentation

Melissa Whiteman, founder of Living Free Consulting LLC and digital safety expert, will educate and empower parents, caregivers, and kids to keep youth safe in the digital age. Topics will include understanding tech culture, social media, technology's impact on the developing brain, cyberbullying, video games, online predators, exposure to adult content, screen time, internet addiction, device use recommendations for different ages and how to have proactive conversations about online safety with youth of all ages. Childcare provided by Linn-Benton Community College childcare staff.

There will be a second presentation focusing on kids & teens ages 8-17 on February 4.
