August 2, 2025: Disaster Squad #1: Wildfire Rescue by Rekha S. Rajan
The Jackson family, including eight-year-old Jaden and his sister Leela, travel the United States responding to disasters, helping people, and rescuing animals–but they have never responded to a wildfire like the one raging in Northern California.

A limited number of kits will be available for pick-up beginning Saturday, August 2, 2025 on a first-come, first-served basis at each library branch.

A small number of kits will also be available for home delivery. Please contact Youth Services at 541-766-6794 for more information.

Participate in a book discussion with fun activities! The Kids Book Club is for kids reading beginning chapter books. A limited number of copies of each month’s book are provided by the Friends of the Library and are available at the Youth Reference Desk.
