League of Women Voters Meeting - Preparing for the United States Census. 

You are invited to learn from experts and engage in discussion about our census process.  The League of Women Voters of Corvallis in partnership with the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library invites the community to hear our panel of experts: Kirstin Stein, Partnership Specialist for Benton-Linn-Marion Counties of OR, Mark Shepard – Corvallis City Manager, and Kelly Volkmann – Benton County Health Navigation Manager and 2020 Census Liaison discuss the upcoming 2020 census.  Questions to be discussed: Why do we have a census and why is it important to have an accurate count?, What are the history and some highlights of the census from the last 200+ years?, How do the city of Corvallis and Benton County use the census?, and How can you help?.
