Nestled in the forests above the headwaters of Oregon's McKenzie River, the Fish Lake historic site has countless stories to tell of the people who occupied the site for different purposes for hundreds of years. Authors David Turner and Rolf Anderson have published a new book, Fish Lake in the High Cascades: A Historic Legacy to document this unique site.
The authors will give a free presentation titled Why Visit This Fish Lake? (There are 10 in Oregon) at the Corvallis Public Library on Saturday, October 1 at 2pm. Books will be available for purchase.
