Event Details

Tweens in grades 4-6 and teens in grades 6-12 are invited to  join visiting Fulbright Scholar Dr. Derek Fish for a highly entertaining journey into Wonderful Wavelengths and Fascinating Frequencies which give us all the colors and sounds we sometimes take for granted. Dr. Fish will be joined by local artists and educators Andrea Heidinger, Keith Moses, Shawn Rowe and others as they show and discuss how they bridge the gap between art and science. This interactive session will be a fascinating - and FUN! - exploration into how we see and perceive our world, with dynamic demos and powerful presentations.

Come see what the world looks like through the glasses Dr. Fish is wearing - and why - and get a free pair when you attend!

Hosted by the Corvallis Art Guild with some of the featured artists and presenters appearing at the 60th Clothesline Sale of Local Art in the Park, Saturday, August 5 in Corvallis Central Park from 10am to 5pm
