Corvallis-Benton County Public Libraries is partnering with local zinester, Christina Tran, to present a virtual workshop for adults and teens (grades 6-12) on making your own zine. Learn about the history and power of zines (self-made and self-published mini books) as a form or personal and collective storytelling. We’ll create art and write stories of our experiences during spatial distancing and stay-home orders — and turn them into little books so they can be shared with friends and family. Participants will also be invited to submit pages to the Benton County Quaranzine, a community anthology.
