Fiber Arts Meetup

Fiber Arts Meetup, 18+ only. Free. Bring your own fiber arts project to work on or learn coral reef-type hyperbolic crochet, using our supplies (or yours - bring your favorite crochet hook and yarn!)

We will be meeting one Tuesday evening per month in the Fall of 2023. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to help you learn basic crochet stitches:

September 12, 2023 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

October 17th, 2023 5:30 - 7:0 p.m.

November 14th, 2023 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

You will be welcome (this is not required!) to add your coral reef themed creations into a Coral Reef Art Display with local art groups, Maxtivity and the Arts Center, on Sunday, November 18, 2023, 2-4 p.m. in the Library's main meeting room!

Easily portable art additions for the display may be dropped off at any library desk beginning in September, 2023. Please remember that your piece will become part of a larger community piece, and you may not get your art back!
