Teen Takeover: STEAM/Maker Night

Teens in grades 6-12 take over the library after it closes on the 3rd Friday of the month. Snacks and materials provided. Join us for a STEAM/Maker Night in April! (STEAM = science, technology, engineering, art, and math)

Joining us at this event is the Mid-Valley STEM CTE Hub, with a wide variety of activities and a make-n-take, and The Arts Center, leading a fun art project!

This event opens at 6:30pm; the library closes at 6pm. Teens at the library at close must exit and then re-enter through the library doors on Monroe Ave. Teens will be released at 8:30pm through the same doors.

NOTE: all teens must turn in a permission form signed by a parent or guardian to participate. Permission forms will be available at the library at the Youth Desk and in the teen space, as well as at the event. Forms may also be printed from here. Once submitted, the permission form is good for the entire school year.
