Tweens in 4th-5th grade, join us for week #2 of a brand-new writing series for tweens! Meet award winning local author and illustrator Katherine Roy who will talk to the group about illustration and then work on a piece of your own writing – short story, short graphic novel, poem, or essay – and receive feedback from a group of your peers.  

 

The Tween Writing Workshop is a month-long series of events for tweens in grades 4 & 5 in which each tween will work on a short piece of their own writing. At the end of the month, tweens will have the opportunity to submit their writing to be included in the Corvallis Public Library collection. We encourage each participant to attend all four sessions to get the most out of this writing series and to build a community of writer friends, but it is also okay to come to one or two sessions or as time allows.

All supplies provided by the library.
